Walter Hubbard Zamudio has a degree in Biology, graduated from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara,
He has a technical specialty in larval cultures from the University of Kagoshima, Japan, and a master’s degree in Fisheries Biology and Management from the University College of North Wales, Great Britain.
Academic and consultant for the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) and the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fishing and Food (SAGARPA); in addition to participating in the environmental consulting for the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) and the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA).
He served as manager and promoter of the classification of bivalve mollusc harvest areas for the compliance with the Mexican Bivalve Mollusc Health Program of the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) and certification of Mollusk Processing Plants Bivalves for export.
