Humberto Becerra Batista

For over 20 years, Humberto Becerra Batista has led the fishing company Promarex, on its mission to deliver high quality seafood products to markets all around the globe.
In this time, he has also occupied different positions in the National Chamber of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Mexico (CANAINPESCA), including his current tenure as National President.
Under his leadership, he has positioned CANAINPESCA as a referent and a figure for the defense of the interests of the fishing and aquaculture industry.
Moreover, he has fostered the union amongst chambers across Latin America, by becoming a founding partner and First Vicepresident of the Latin American Alliance for Food Security through Sustainable Fisheries (ALPESCAS)
