Diego Garcia Luchetti

Dr. Diego Garcia Luchetti, is a Lawyer, specialized in the Fishing Sector, he has served advising the private sector on investment and fishing legislation in the Argentine Republic.
Since 2013 he has served as President of the Argentine Chamber of Shipowners of Deep Sea Fishing Vessels (CAABA).
It is a trade union-business entity, established on October 9, 1963, which groups together the shipowners of deep-sea fishing vessels that carry out their activity in Argentina.
His position in defense of the sustainability of fishery resources is well known, based on the use of fresh vessels and processing plants on land, to obtain a greater degree of use of these resources, within a responsible fishing framework.
Director of the Latin American Alliance for Food Security through Sustainable Fishing (Alpescas), representing the Argentine Republic.
This association brings together the industrial fishing associations or chambers of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Peru and Mexico, whose objective is to promote sustainable fishing activity.
