Claudio Pichaud Uribe

I am an Artisanal Fisherman since I was 15 years old.
I initially worked as free-diver and a divers assistant in several benthic resources and later became a fishing patron, mainly of jaiba marmola captured with nasas.
In 2006 we joined together with other Jaiba fishermen, who wanted the sustainability of our activity in order to organize ourselves to establish an adequate management of this species.
I have been a director since 2009 and in this framework in 2015 we started the MSC certification process where we have worked side by side with the Ecos Research Center to achieve this goal.
