Bill Hoeing

30 plus years ago Bill Hoenig began his adventure in the Seafood business as a one-man-operation with a pick-up truck and an ice-filled ice-chest buying fresh fish from the Seri tribe on the Sea of Cortez in Northern Mexico.
Over time, Bill’s interests became more and more focused on the emerging field of Aquaculture, it lead to work with Bluecadia Aquaculture Group in Belize and then Delta Blue Aquaculture.
Bill is a founding member the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) and Manager of Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Latin American Development Division. Bill continues to be an outspoken proponent of environmentally, socially and economically responsible aquaculture as an efficient way to feed the world and as a food security support for at risk areas lacking in resources.
