Linda Cornish

Is a purpose-driven executive who is known for her ability to develop innovative strategies, business models, and plans to address tough challenges. She is a servant leader and coach and inspires her teams and partners to successfully execute on mission and vision. She has repeatedly been recruited to turn-around businesses and establish organizations from the ground up. Her passions are to help people get healthier and empower sustainable solutions.

Linda is currently the President and Board Secretary of the Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP), a non-profit organization she founded to inspire a healthier America and advocate for improved public health and future food security through sustainable seafood. She has raised over $7.5 million from a broad-based group of donors from the seafood industry, corporations, foundations, government, and individuals. Linda provides leadership and guidance to the fundraising, communications, and operations teams. To date, the per capita seafood consumption has increased in the U.S. since SNP’s founding.

In her current role, she has established SNP as the trusted voice for seafood nutrition for the industry and the health and nutrition community. Linda has presented to many groups including Aquaculture America, Aquarium of the Pacific, Bay of Fundy Seafood Forum, Boston Museum of Science, Canadian Aquaculture Industry Alliance, Clinton Global Initiative, Global Aquaculture Alliance – GOAL Conference, Global Seafood Marketing Conference, Groundfish Forum, Seafood Expo North America, Sustainable Seafood Week NYC, World Seafood Congress, and Women of Seafood. Linda is recognized by IntraFish Media in the Seafood Power 100, a list of the industry’s most influential executives.

Previously, Linda was Chief Operating Officer for the Bill of Rights Institute, VP of Membership at the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce, Management Consultant at Arthur Andersen and Hitachi Business Consulting helping Fortune 1000 companies with strategic development, business process, technology, and people development.

In a volunteer capacity, Linda is a co-founder and past chairman for the Memphis Farmers Market, an outdoor farmers market that generates about $4.5 million in annual economic impact.

Linda holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Riverside. She lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and two Sealyham Terriers. Outside of work Linda enjoys cooking, reading, staying active, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
